This piece is inspired by cherished memories of annual trips to the beach with my grandparents. It is constructed using overlapping layers of handmade paper, beeswax, and pigments in various shades of blue and white, accented with subtle hints of gold shimmer. The colors and textures symbolize the fragmented memories that recount days filled with chasing waves, digging for clams, and searching for sea shells and sea glass while walking the seemingly endless miles of coastline alongside my beloved grandmother
